The Crimean Tatar Resource Centre has been active for over nine years. During this time we have organised many events, including hundreds of actions, dozens of successful advocacy and information campaigns, exhibitions, side events, trainings, press conferences, seminars, camps and academies.
This kind of work requires a highly skilled team. To effectively train others, we are constantly improving ourselves, studying global best practices and exchanging experiences to improve our skills. We always strive for development and do not rest on our laurels.
On August 5, the manager of the CTRC Zarema Bariieva and manager, lawyer of the CTRC Liudmyla Korotkikh took part in the online workshop from ENGAGE ‘Social Inclusion and Gender Sensitive Approaches in Program Activities of Public Organisations’. During the event the participants listened to presentations from NDI: ‘Inclusive Programming and Integration of Gender Issues in Ukraine’ and from Gender Zed: ‘Implementation of Equality and Inclusion Policies in Organisations’.
In addition, there was a group work on recommendations on the specifics of gender-responsive programming and inclusion in the implementation of program activities.
We are grateful to our partners and organisers of the event for the opportunity to gain new knowledge and make useful acquaintances.
More to come!
