The court of Aqyar (Sevastopol) ruled that residents without Russian citizenship who left the city and did not report themselves for a long time could be considered missing. This was reported in the decision of the Gagarin court of the hero city regarding one family lawsuit.
The city resident appealed to the court with a statement in which he asked to recognize his father as missing, since in 2019 he went to live in Ukraine because he did not have a Russian passport. Since April 2022, he has completely stopped making contact, and since the one-year period prescribed by Russian law has expired, the court considered it possible to declare the relative missing.
