The FSB threatened a couple from the occupied Crimea to leave because of their pro-Ukrainian position.
The couple had a business related to food delivery, without paying taxes, so as not to sponsor the Russian army. According to them, during discussions about Russia’s war against Ukraine at work, they were overheard and reported. After this, they were detained by the police and accused of illegal business.
After interrogation, the girl was fined 30,000 rubles for discrediting the Russian army, and a month later she was imprisoned for 15 days. When she was released, they warned that next time she will be prosecuted for terrorism, and that if she did not leave Crimea, she would go to prison.
After that, she left the peninsula herself, without her boyfriend, since he needed a Russian passport. Yurii managed to leave only seven months later, through the humanitarian corridor between Belgorod and Sumy region.
