49 MPs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine sent a submission to the Constitutional Court on the compliance with the Constitution of the Agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the issues of the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the court.
“In the opinion of the subject of the right to a constitutional submission, there are grounds for recognizing the Agreement as unconstitutional”,- the message says.
Let us clarify that we are talking about the so-called Kharkiv agreements – an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which was signed on April 21, 2010 in Kharkiv by Viktor Yanukovych and Dmitry Medvedev.
