The materials of the criminal case against the Crimean Tatars in the second Dzhankoi Hizb ut-Tahrir case were transferred to the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don. Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov told Crimean Solidarity about this.
Tomorrow, on August 25, a preliminary court session will be held, all political prisoners will participate in the session via videoconference from pre-trial detention center 1 in Aqmescit (Simferopol). After the meeting, all the defendants will be transferred to Rostov-on-Don.
“Such a transfer of citizens of Ukraine to the territory of Russia is a violation of humanitarian law, the Geneva Convention, the PACE resolution and international law. This is regarded as a war crime”,- commented the lawyer.
Recall that on January 24, 2023, the invaders arrested Ekrem Krosh, Ayder Asanov, Refat Seidametov, Osman Abdurazakov, Leman Zekiriaiev, Khalil Mambetov.
