Special Operations Forces call on Ukrainians to join resistance movement

February 14, 2025
The Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea is approaching, which is marked annually in Ukraine on 26 February. This is the day when, in 2014, more than 15,000 Crimean residents expressed their support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Almost 11 years ago, at the initiative of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, a large-scale rally was held in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol), during which Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians and pro-Ukrainian citizens opposed the ‘’annexation‘’ of Crimea to the Russian Federation.

Although almost 11 years have passed, the resistance has not stopped, both in the occupied Crimea and in mainland Ukraine.

Today, the struggle continues not only in the information space, but also in real life. That is why the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine call on everyone to join the resistance movement – both in the occupied territories and on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

The forms of participation may vary:

Gathering information in favour of Ukraine,
Preparation for possible repulsion of aggression,
Supporting the information front.
The resistance movement needs people from the temporarily occupied Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

You can register at opir.org.ua. The application form is completely confidential.

Even if you are on the non-occupied territory of Ukraine, you can contribute to our common struggle.

Crimea was, is and will remain Ukrainian. Together – to victory!
