On July 11, a procedure began to operate in the Russian Federation that restricts those liable for military service in the right to drive a vehicle in case of failure to appear on a summons to the military registration and enlistment office.

All this will apply to both citizens subject to initial military registration, as well as citizens who are on military registration and citizens who are not, but should be on military registration.

The restriction will be removed upon appearance at the draft board or if it is proved that the driver is not drafted.
