During his speech at the Third Parliamentary Summit of the Crimea
Platform held on October 24 in Riga, President of Ukraine Volodymyr
Zelensky said that after the successful implementation of Ukraine’s
victory plan, it would be possible to see Russia at a peace summit.
Also, according to him, the world will be able to observe the
implementation of the Peace Formula.
“When and if the victory plan is fully implemented, we will see Russia at the peace summit. We will see the Peace Formula implemented, as well as the full restoration of the effectiveness of the goals and principles of the UN Charter,” -Zelensky said.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the number of
state flags in the hall where the third Parliamentary Summit is taking
place now shows that since 2014 Russia has failed in its main goal –
to make such an international crime as the occupation of Crimea
acceptable to the world.
The President also outlined the main components of the victory plan,
which include:
1. Inviting Ukraine to join NATO;
2. Defense of Ukraine;
3. Deterring Russian aggression;
4. Economic cooperation;
5. Ensuring security.
“Such words as occupation, captivity, deportation should not have any power in the world . We must achieve real peace,” – emphasized the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy .
Zelenskyy called on the summit participants to support these points in
their countries and in a dialogue with international partners.
