Sanatoriums in the occupied Crimea have been massively filled with budget vouchers since the beginning of summer. In addition, Russians are taking children from the occupied part of the Kherson region to Artek and other children’s health camps in Crimea free of charge.

There is a large influx of budget vacationers to sanatoriums in Sudak, Feodosia (Kefe), Yevpatoria (Kezlev) and Saki. The Crimean branch of the international movement for the deoccupation of Crimea #LiberateCrimea said that those who arrive under budget vouchers are mostly residents of the occupied territories of mainland Ukraine, as well as from the flooded regions of neighboring Russia and Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

Also, the occupation commissioner for human rights in Kherson region Sergei Georgiev said that children from the occupied part of Kherson region will receive free vouchers to Artek and other children’s health camps in Crimea. He also noted that after the “transfer of the part of the Kherson region to Russia”, all children in the area have undergone a comprehensive medical examination free of charge.

We would like to remind you that Russians are massively refusing to go to the occupied Crimea because of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes on the peninsula, and therefore the occupation authorities fill sanatoriums with budgetary employees to create the impression of a tourist season. However, such activities do not bring income to the economy of Crimea, as budgetary employees in the majority do not have an opportunity to spend money on such vacations. The occupants also treat the population of the TOTs on the mainland with free vouchers to Crimea.
