On May 15, the lawyer of the political prisoner Rustem Emiruseinov, Igor Elifanov, visited him in the prison hospital. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity.
Currently, Emiruseinov has been transferred to a detention chamber at the Interregional Tuberculosis Hospital in the Saratov Region due to suspected diabetes. Now he is undergoing diagnostics, no treatment has been prescribed.
“The cell with an area of 24 m² is designed for four, but now there are two of them, it is cold in it. Hygienic conditions are satisfactory, they clean the room themselves. There is a TV, a common refrigerator for several cells”,- the lawyer Igor Elifanov said.
Political prisoner Emiruseinov says that the food in the prison hospital is poor and scarce. Much of the food is not suitable for a person with diabetes.
“The religious aspect of the convict in food is not taken into account”,- Elifanov added.
