The Crimean Tatar Resource Center became aware that on August 13, 2022, Russian security forces detained a resident of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, Yevhen Pryshliak.
According to the relatives of the man, he was first taken to the basement in Nova Kakhovka, where the Russian occupiers interrogated him and beat him, and also forced him to do various work. After that, on October 17, Yevhen was taken to Sevastopol in the occupied Crimea. From there, the relatives of Yevhen Pryshliak received 2 letters, which were sent through the Red Cross.
Subsequently, it became known that the man was detained for opposing the SMO and is allegedly accused of espionage.
Now the whereabouts of Yevhen Pryshliak remains unknown, but he is probably in Rostov-on-Don.
On this occasion, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center is already preparing a statement to the UN Working Group on Enforced and Involuntary Disappearances.
