Akyar(Sevastopol) city ‘court’ has sentenced in absentia an inhabitant of the city under the article on ‘state treason’. This is reported by the Russian prosecutor’s office of Akyar (Sevastopol).
According to the Russian investigation, the man allegedly joined the AFU and participated in the battles for Bakhmut.
‘The court found that the man, who is a citizen of the Russian Federation, defected to the side of the enemy and as part of the armed forces of Ukraine in March 2023 in the area of the city of Bakhmut participated in military operations against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation’, – stated in the message.
The name and surname of the dweller of Akyar (Sevastopol) city was not mentioned.
