Ruslan Zeytullaev was released from the punishment cell in the high-security colony in Salavat, Bashkortostan. This was reported by the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov to Crimean Solidarity.
According to the report, Zeytullaev spent about 40 days in the isolation center: he did not complain about his health, but asked the colony staff to have him seen by a dentist. According to the Crimean, the employees of the Russian colony promised him that he would be able to get to the doctor.
We would like to remind, on January 23, 2015 in Crimea Russian security forces arrested Rustem Vaitov, Nuri (Yuri) Primov and Ruslan Zeytullaev. They became the first defendants in the fabricated “Hizb ut-Tahrir case”. All of them were charged under Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Organization of activities of a terrorist organization and participation in it”). The Russian court sentenced Vaitov and Primov to five years’ imprisonment in a general regime penal colony, and Zeytullaev to fifteen years in a strict regime colony.
