The Crimean Tatar Resource Center has been operating for more than eight years. We are directing all our efforts towards the de-occupation, reintegration and sustainable development of Crimea, as well as the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Recall that on April 2, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksii Danilov announced 12 steps for the de-occupation of Crimea. Among these theses is the issue of criminal liability for collaborationism and treason.
“In addition to criminal prosecution for collaborationism and treason, a lustration mechanism of personal assessment is being developed, which, in particular, determines the level of responsibility and the degree of involvement of specific individuals, citizens of Ukraine, residents of Crimea, in supporting the activities of the occupation administrations, which provides, in particular, for restricting the right to participate in elections – to elect and be elected”,- Danilov said.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center systematically works in this direction and already has several finished products:
Methodology for assessing the feasibility of introducing personal sanctions against persons collaborating with the occupying authorities in Crimea. This technique can be applied both in Ukrainian legislation, and also contribute to the universal formation of sanctions lists for international partners.
The test “Will you fall under sanctions?”, with the help of which every resident of Crimea can find out the degree of his collaboration by answering just a few questions
The clickable diagram “Classification of people, responsible for human rights violations in the occupied Crimea”, which is constantly updated on the CTRC website and contains information about persons involved in human rights violations in Crimea, including collaborators.
In addition, an important component of our work was the fight against illegal mobilization in the occupied Crimea. The CTRC has launched an information campaign “Grave Mobilization”, which also collects information about persons involved in illegal mobilization in the occupied Crimea.
CTRC is ready to cooperate with the National Security and Defense Council and provide all the materials developed by our experts for further cooperation.
