Indigenous cultural heritage is under threat due to occupation and war;
The health and life of representatives of indigenous peoples are under threat due to the forced mobilization of representatives of the indigenous peoples of Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine into the Russian army, which leads to mass death and disability of men of the indigenous peoples of Russia and the indigenous peoples of Ukraine from the occupied territories of Ukraine;
Due to the occupation of the territory and military aggression of Russia, Mother Earth is suffering, nature is being destroyed.
Representatives of the CTRC will actively participate in the 22nd session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. They will inform the international community about the situation of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, the persecution and repression to which the Russian occupiers subject representatives of the indigenous people of Ukraine in the occupied Crimea and southern Ukraine.
