Since the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, psychological pressure has increased against Vladyslav Yesypenko. It is reported by the Association of Relatives of Political Prisoners of the Kremlin.
It is reported that the administration of the colony violates the lawyer’s secrecy, as it is present at the conversations of the political prisoner with his lawyer.
“In connection with the Russian law on fakes of March 4, 2022, during conversations with Vladyslav, my lawyer and I try not to call this war a war and avoid this topic in principle. After all, we understand that one unsuccessfully spoken phrase can lead to the transfer of my husband to stricter conditions of detention or the initiation of an administrative case”,- said the political prisoner’s wife, Kateryna Yesypenko.
It is also noted that Esipenko is closely watched by other political prisoners.
“My husband said that almost every week the administration of the colony calls him to his place and warns him not to say anything superfluous to me and the lawyer. The administration of the colony is afraid that we will turn to the Ombudsman, to human rights activists, which will lead to an audit”,- adds Kateryna Yesypenko.
