Political prisoner Volodymyr Yakymenko was placed in a detention chamber for refusing to work in the Russian Federation. This was announced by his wife Olena Yakymenko.
First, Volodymyr was placed in a detention chamber, because, as it turned out, according to the documents of the occupants, it was recorded that the man had been working for 2 months, but he did not know this.
“My husband was shocked, because he did not work for a single day and always categorically refused to work, never gave consent and did not sign any documents. On the same day, immediately after the commission, he was placed in a punishment cell”,- the report says.
According to Olena, Volodymyr was placed in a detention chamber for a long time, and probably after that with a transfer to the strict conditions chamber.
We remind you that on June 11, 2017, Ukrainian Volodymyr Yakymenko was detained when he crossed the administrative border with the occupied Crimea. The man was charged with drug trafficking. A Kremlin-controlled court in Crimea sentenced him to 15.5 years in prison under Art. 229.1 part 4, part 3, art. 30 h. 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
