Dilyara Gafarova visited her husband, political prisoner Dilyaver Gafarov, in a penal colony in the Stavropol Territory, where he has been held for more than three years. It is reported by  the Crimean solidarity.

“We traveled by direct bus to Nevinnomyssk with Elzara Abiltarova, the wife of political prisoner Rustem Abiltarov. I am grateful to her, we support and help each other. Dear distant one, there are a lot of expenses, but I am trying to bring more home-made food”,- said Dilyara Gafarova.

Only two days were allocated for the visit, allegedly due to repair work in the colony, and later it was extended for another day after the application written by the spouses. Despite the fact that other prisoners constantly get colds due to the low level of medical care in the colony, Gafarov did not complain about health problems. He described the food as satisfactory, but his relatives continue to give him food regularly. The wife called the relationship between the prisoner and the staff of the colony favorable and added that the man was trying not to violate the regime.

“Of course, there are different cellmates, but so far there have been no problems”,- the wife added.
