Occupiers will illegally try a 28-year-old resident of Dzhankoy district for “high treason”

June 11, 2025

A 28-year-old resident of Dzhankoy district will be illegally tried in occupied Crimea. The woman was accused of high treason for allegedly “assisting” Ukrainian intelligence – because of photographing the location of military facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the occupation Prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea.

It is noted that in March 2024 the woman, who opposed the so-called “special military operation”, allegedly joined an online community, which, according to the occupiers, is run by representatives of Ukrainian military intelligence. She allegedly transmitted coordinates and screenshots with geolocations via messenger, for which she received about 15 thousand rubles.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center strongly condemns this illegal detention. We demand the immediate release of all political prisoners held by the occupation authorities in Crimea.
