Russians wanted to send a resident of Kefe (Feodosia) to pre-trial detention center for stickers with logos of Facebook and Instagram. This was reported by the human rights initiative “Crimean episode”.
According to the information of the initiative, the man installed a camera on a tripod to provide services to vacationers in a passable place on the embankment of Kefe (Feodosia). There were stickers on the equipment, to which he did not pay attention, but law enforcement officers noticed them and detained him. A protocol was drawn up on the man.
“He was taken to court and was told that as an extremist he could be given 15 days of arrest, and the camera to be confiscated as an object of offense”, – stated in the message.
“Crimean episode” added that the “judge” believed that the camera was purchased on the Russian site “Avito”, and the stickers were already on it, because of that, she did not find a real intention to advertise “extremist products” in the actions of the accused, and assigned him a fine of 200 rubles.
