Russian security forces in the temporarily occupied Crimea have launched a case against a resident of Yalta because of his disagreement with the war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The occupation “investigation” accuses the man of cooperation with the Ukrainian security services and preparation of “sabotage”. This was reported by the occupation Prosecutor’s office of Crimea.
As reported by the so-called “prosecutor’s office” of Crimea, a resident of Yalta in late 2022 allegedly came into contact with representatives of the security service of Ukraine and expressed readiness to “help” in sabotage and terrorist attacks”.
“In March 2024, he received an assignment from his handlers, according to which he was to find explosive devices and individual components for defeat, after which he was to place them in a cache. The man studied the basics of handling explosive devices, purchased an improvised explosive device, receiver and transmitter, as well as an explosive substance based on hexogen, which he placed in the agreed place, the coordinates passed to an employee of the security service of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
Soon the man was detained by FSB officers. His case is planned to be transferred to the occupation “court”.
