Occupiers create defensive structures in Crimea

February 27, 2023

Back in December 2022, the Russian occupants began to bring their military to Yarylhach (Mizhvodn) in the occupied Crimea and settle them in boarding houses. Soon they began to build fortifications here.

Moreover, 4 km of Mizhvode beach were declared mined. There are three strongholds with shelters, communication channels, trenches for infantry and armored vehicles. The first checkpoint is at the southern entrance, the second is on the territory of the former oil depot, the third is in the bath house near the Neptune cafe.

On the shore, firing positions for artillery were also equipped, it should cover the entrance to the bay. Local residents say that they saw armored vehicles here.

Apparently, the occupants themselves already feel that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are nearby and Crimea will soon return to Ukraine.
