Occupiers convict Kherson region resident for ‘participation in terrorist organization’

The Novokakhovsky “court” has sentenced a local resident to two years in prison for allegedly participating in a terrorist organization.

According to the occupiers, the defendant became a member of the Ukrainian organization “Right Sector” since 2015. During his activities, the man allegedly “engaged in active recruitment of new members, provided the necessary equipment and conducted training of participants”.

“After the Kherson region joined the Russian Federation, the defendant continued to recruit new members to the terrorist ranks, but the brave officers of the Russian FSS of our region stopped his work. The prosecutor’s office sent the indictment to the court after the FSB discovered and detained the terrorist, and the IC officers conducted a thorough investigation. The Novokakhovsky court sentenced the man to two years in a general regime colony,”- the occupiers said in a statement.
