24 September it became known that a lecturer of the ‘Crimean branch’ of the Russian State University of Justice was suspended from teaching for saying that the Ukrainian government is more constitutional and legitimate under international law.
This was reported by the activist of the public movement ‘Yellow Ribbon’ in a telegram channel.
‘Two weeks ago at a pair on constitutional law, the teacher noted that the Ukrainian government is elected in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and recognized norms of international law,’ – the activist said.
According to her, a student from Tula started arguing with the lecturer, justifying it as treason. Then the student defiantly left the pair and complained about the lecturer. Later, the university administration informed the student group that the lecturer had been suspended because of his comments on the legitimacy of the Ukrainian government.
