The so-called ‘Genichesk district court’ has handed down a prison sentence of more than three years to a local 55-year-old resident. The ‘authorities’ incriminated the man with participation in the Crimean Tatar volunteer battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan.
Probably, we are talking about Gennady Osmak, a journalist, former editor-in-chief of the Genichesk website ‘New Visit’. His arrest and detention was reported by Sergei Danilov, deputy director of the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies.
Gennady Osmak was arrested in March on denunciation. He was ‘assigned’ 3 years and 2 months of strict regime colony.
