A bill has been submitted to the State Duma of Russia to invalidate the decision to transfer Crimea from the RSFSR to the Ukrainian SSR.
It was initiated by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Konstantin Zatulin. Earlier, he stated that “in 1954, no one in Russia, including Crimea, was polled about the transfer of the peninsula to the Ukrainian SSR.”
