Today, February 15, lawyer Emil Kurbedinov was detained near the FSB building in the occupied Crimea. Crimean Solidarity reports this.
“In Simferopol, near the building of the FSB Directorate, lawyer Emil Kurbedinov was detained. Employees of the Center for Countering Extremism are taking him to the city police department”,- the message says.
The lawyer’s wife, Diana Kurbedinova, testified that he was taken away by security forces when he was leaving investigative activities.
“Emil called, he was leaving the building after the investigative activities. He was met by the employees of the Center for Countering Extremism Roman Filatov and Ruslan Shambazov and told to proceed with them”,- she said.
It is known that Emil Kurbedinov was released and a report was drawn up against him under Part 9, Art. 13.15 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Abuse of freedom of mass information). It turned out that the lawyer was detained for a comment on Telegram written on July 14, 2023.
