Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev expressed several points regarding Donald Trump’s initiative on peace talks.
So, according to the expert:
1. Negotiations about Ukraine without Ukraine are not negotiations, but rather conspiracy;
2.Whether Donald Trump has the right to negotiate on Ukraine if the US is against Ukraine’s accession to NATO and does not want to give guarantees of its security, but shifts the blame to Europe;
3. Europe must be a subject. Although Ukraine is not a member of the EU, it is geographically a European state. We cannot talk about the security of Europe without Europe. Europe has enough resources to ensure autonomous security, it just needs to get out of the warm bath;
