“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is under non-public pressure from the generals and politicians of the United States and Great Britain, who demand to open the straits for the unhindered passage of the US and NATO fleets to the Black Sea”,- writes the News of Crimea telegram channel, citing an unnamed source in the Coastal Command protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey.
Apart from the Russian media, such information did not surface anywhere. There were no official comments from the United States, Turkey, Great Britain or NATO regarding demands to let fleets through the straits.
Propaganda again uses the hackneyed cliché of NATO Navy (as well as NATO Army).
In fact, NATO does not have an army or navy. There are fleets and armies of NATO member states, but a separate NATO fleet does not exist in nature.
This telegram publication can be explained by the fact that Russian propaganda once again wants to intimidate its consumers. Probably, the propagandists are counting on the US and NATO fleet wanting to move to the Black Sea to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the liberation of Crimea. But neither the US, nor the UK, nor the Alliance are parties to the conflict, and the military formations of NATO and the Alliance member states do not participate in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
We remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center continues the column NATO in the media of the occupied Crimea, the purpose of which is to track fake information in the temporarily occupied Crimea about the values, goals and current activities of NATO and refute this information.
Friends, how do you like this fake? Would you believe?
