“Today, our Armed Forces are performing the most difficult tasks in the zone of a special military operation, fighting the enemy, in fact, NATO forces. A new elite of Russia is being formed on the fronts of the SMO”,- wrote the self-proclaimed head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov on his telegram channel, congratulating subscribers on the day of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
Collaborator Aksenov is spreading one of the key Russian propaganda narratives that the Russian Federation is not at war with Ukraine as it is with NATO. The purpose of such statements is to continue to convince the inhabitants of the peninsula that NATO is to blame for the war, that Russia was forced to launch a military defense in order to prevent the Alliance’s plans to eliminate the Russian state, that Kyiv could not be taken in 3 days, because on the side of Ukraine the military states of NATO fought, otherwise Kyiv would have been taken not in 3 days, but in 3 hours.
This message has a clearly expressed goal – to motivate the inhabitants of Crimea to join the RF Armed Forces and participate in the war against Ukraine.
It is useful to remind not even Aksenov, but ordinary consumers of propaganda content: there are no NATO forces in Ukraine, there are only the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Alliance or individual NATO member countries DO NOT take part in the Russian-Ukrainian war, which the propaganda stubbornly calls a special military operation.
