Museums in Crimea appealed to the European Court of Human Rights to appeal the decision to transfer Scythian gold to Ukraine. This was reported by the Russian media TASS with reference to the special representative of the Russian President for international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy.
“The limit of possibilities to resolve this issue on the territory of the Netherlands has been exhausted, so the museums – I emphasize, the museums of Crimea – appealed to the European Court of Human Rights. Since the rights of museums were violated, they filed this lawsuit, believing that the court could restore justice”,- the Russian state agency TASS quotes the official as saying.
We remind you that on June 9, 2023, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands decided to return Scythian gold to Ukraine.
