Mogilisation continues: families of Russian IC officers killed in the ‘SWO’ zone will be paid 5 million rubles

August 7, 2024

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended a payment of 5 million roubles in case of death in the so-called ‘special military operation’ zone and 3 million roubles in case of injury to employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

The payment in case of death of an investigator in the zone of ‘special military operation’ will be made in equal shares to the wife (husband), parents and children. The payment of 5 million roubles will be extended to employees who died from wounds during the year.

The Russian authorities are actively using various methods to attract citizens to the war. Promises of significant financial payments are only one of the tools used to motivate participation in the conflict. Propaganda, pressure on families, deception and manipulation are also widely used to recruit new combatants.

However, it is worth remembering that participation in this war not only endangers lives, but also makes one an accomplice to aggression against another country. We urge everyone not to give in to propaganda and pressure, and to refuse to participate in a war that brings only death and suffering. It is impossible to participate in actions that contradict moral principles and norms of international law.

We would like to remind you that the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre earlier launched a campaign ‘Mogilisation’, in the framework of which Crimean residents are informed about how to avoid mobilisation, what should be done if you receive a summons, how to sabotage mobilisation, how to go to third countries, etc.
