The Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, a member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Eskender Bariiev, said in an interview with the ICTV Facts program that the occupiers continue to persecute pro-Ukrainian activists in Crimea.
As the expert noted, arrests under old articles do not stop. Volunteers are often accused of an act of international terrorism, and for Crimean Tatars a typical violation is the law on illegal armed formations, for alleged participation in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion, but now the occupying authorities blame the SSU for all this.
“They began to say that Hizb ut-Tahrir cells are managed by the Security Service of Ukraine, that is, for the first time messages appeared that all these cells are connected to the special services of Ukraine and are dangerous for the Russian Federation”,- said Eskender Bariiev.
