Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre, the Head of the Department for Legal and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, told the News Channel 24 about the details of the explosion that took place in Crimea on March 29.
Bariiev explained that local gauleiters, including the Russian-appointed head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, are short-spoken. The latter said that AAW systems were activated on the peninsula and the remains of the UAVs fell in a field.
“More information is being reported by local residents who witnessed the bavovna. They say that there was a very powerful explosion, even similar to an earthquake,” he added.
Eskender Bariiev notes that the explosions could have accidentally occurred at the airfield or other strategic facilities, and that the nearby railway is also worth paying attention to.
