Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, told the News Channel 24 that Russians in Crimea are trying hard to protect strategic military facilities.
Bariiev noted that on the peninsula, Russians are mainly thinking about how to defend themselves. First, they built defenses in the north, and now they are beginning to fortify the south.
Moreover, in Sudak and Alushta, the Russians continue to mine the coast and build fortifications, while no explosions have occurred there before.
According to the expert, after the explosions in Sevastopol, the Russians began to transfer Black Sea Fleet ships from Sevastopol to Novorosiisk or other bases.
“Now, the Russians are doing everything possible to protect the oil depot in Feodosiia, as it is also very powerful. So, they are introducing internal regulations to strengthen the protection of the oil depot, as they are afraid of new attacks,” he explained.
