Eskender Bariiev, the Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, said in an interview with the Hromadske Radio, that the demand for vacations in the occupied Crimea has fallen by 35-40% and the occupiers cannot hide it.
According to him, in the occupied Crimea, representatives of law enforcement agencies are trying to take their relatives to the territory of the Russian Federation so that they do not stay in Crimea.
“Speaking about the attitude to the situation, they say at the informal level that the demand for bookings for vacations in Crimea has fallen by 35-40%, and they cannot hide it,” Bariiev said.
He added that Russians in Crimea are providing instructions on evacuation from the occupied peninsula.
“There is information that the occupiers are trying to make an inventory of cultural heritage in order to take it out,” Bariiev emphasized.
