The Crimean Tatar Resource Center presents a video about Crimea with the involvement of famous Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars. With this video, we want to draw more attention of Ukrainians to the situation on the occupied peninsula.
With the beginning of a full-scale war launched by Russia on the territory of Ukraine, all Ukrainians were forced to radically change their lives.
However, it should be recalled that the war in Ukraine began back in 2014, when the Russian Federation illegally occupied the Ukrainian Crimea. For more than eight years, the inhabitants of the peninsula have been forced to live in new realities. Opponents of the Russian government have experienced and continue to experience terrible persecution and harassment.
Despite this, the inhabitants of Ukraine remain insufficiently aware of the situation in the occupied Crimea. Unfortunately, many are starting to get used to the fact that the peninsula is not Ukrainian.
In our video, such famous people of Ukraine as Jamala, Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, Taras Topolia, Akhtem Seitablaiev and Sevgil Musaieva spoke about five important dates related to Crimea and Ukraine:
• Day of Crimean resistance to Russian occupation
• Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People
• Day of the Crimean Tatar flag
• International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples
• The start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine
We hope that after watching this video, every Ukrainian will understand that they need to continue their fight for our Crimea.
In Crimea – it has begun… In Crimea – it will end!
Crimea is Ukraine!
