Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department of Legal and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev in an interview with Espresso TV emphasized that the Crimean Tatars are actively conducting information work among their fellow countrymen in the occupied Crimea.
“We are actively working with our fellow countrymen to hide from the occupying army and not go to war against Ukraine, or better choose the option of being in a pre-trial detention center, but not fighting against their people. If someone has already fallen into the occupying army, then we urge you to surrender to Ukrainian troops”,- he said.
Bariiev noticed that the occupants go to the houses of the Crimean Tatars. According to him, this was recorded both in Simferopol and in other areas of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
“Representatives of the military commissariats come there and keep records of who is at home and who is not. They also separately note who served in military service in Russia, or signed a contract, whether he had experience of serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or in the Soviet army”,- Bariiev explained.
