December 14, 2021

Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department of Legal and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev, in an interview with Ukrainian Radio, spoke about the documentary film Give me back my dad! by the CTRC.

“We did not prepare any texts and scripts. Psychologists and journalists worked with children. They said what they had in their souls, in their hearts”,- he said.

Bariiev noted that with this picture, the CTRC wants to draw the attention of the Ukrainian and international community to the problem of political prisoners in Crimea, as well as their children, who suffer no less than their parents. That is why the picture is available in seven languages: Ukrainian, Arabic, German, English, Turkish, Italian and Spanish.

“The film is 20 minutes long. We took such timing so that the picture could be used at various international venues, for example, as part of side events or as part of events of international organizations”.- the expert explained.

The head of the Board of the CTRC stressed that one of the main audiences is also the Ukrainian people. After all, it is very important that the inhabitants of a country where the rights of children are violated know about such atrocities by the Russian Federation.
