On Friday, January 15, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presented an online analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea over 2020. According to the monitoring data, during the reporting period, 52 searches were recorded on the peninsula, 280 cases of arrests, 92 interrogations, interviews and conversations, 252 arrests: 47 – new arrests, 16 – sentences, 189 – extensions of detention for political prisoners of Crimea. In addition, it is known about 424 cases of violations of the right to a fair trial, 138 – to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, and 77 cases of transferring political prisoners from Crimea.
