The Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Eskender Bariiev, on the air of the ATR TV channel, commenting on the verdicts of the defendants in the so-called Krasnohvardiiske Hizb ut-Tahrir case, said that the occupants are increasing pressure and creating tougher conditions even in the adoption of decisions by the occupation courts.

Bariiev noted that the defendants in the so-called Krasnohvardiiske Hizb ut-Tahrir case were first sentenced to 2 years in prison, and only then in a maximum security colony.

“Previously, such decisions were not made. In a colony, prisoners have more opportunities to buy something and so on. In prison, you can only sit in a cell, you cannot go out. Therefore, now they are increasing pressure and creating tougher conditions even in the adoption of decisions by the occupation courts”,- he explained.
