#LIBERATECRIMEA: The dusk of the occupation (video)

August 20, 2020

On Wednesday, August 19, activists of the international movement for the de-occupation of Crimea and solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people #LiberateCrimea held on the banks of the Syvash, in the place closest to the occupied peninsula, the Dusk of Occupation event. The event was dedicated to countering the oppression of human rights and the rights of indigenous peoples on the peninsula, the need to stop the predatory plunder of natural resources and the cultural heritage of Crimea.

The place of the event was also conditioned by the aggressor's militarization of northern Crimea with obvious intentions to further escalate the conflict in the south of the Kherson region.

The participants noted that the decline of the occupation power of the Russian Federation in Crimea is inevitable and that every dusk eventually ends with a dawn.
