The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center is pleased to present the full-length documentary Witnesses of the 1944 Genocide dedicated to the investigation and recognition of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people as an act of genocide. In the testimonies and memoirs of the heroes of the film there is the fate of hundreds of thousands of other deported Crimean Tatars. The scenes presented in the film are exclusive. They were recorded during court sessions as part of a criminal investigation of the 1944 genocide of the Crimean Tatar people. Some heroes of the film are no longer alive, but their testimonies will forever remain legally relevant and will serve as a source of objective information about the terrible tragedy of the indigenous people of Crimea.
