Krasnoperekopsk district ‘court’ of occupied Crimea sentenced a resident of Perekop district to 8 years and 6 months in prison for participation in an ‘illegal armed formation’. This is reported by RIA ‘Novosti Crimea’.
The occupiers claim that the man arrived at the camp of the ‘illegal armed formation’ near the village of Chongar of the Genichesk district of Kherson region, joined it and actively participated in it during 2016-2022.
‘Performed functional duties related to the inspection of persons and vehicles at checkpoints on the state border between Ukraine and the Republic of Crimea of the Russian Federation, protection of objects of the illegal armed formation, as well as engaged in the maintenance of subsistence farming and construction of fortifications’, – the “court” stated in the message.
At the moment, the name and surname of the man remains unknown.
