Liberatecrimea activists criticize ineffective support for small businesses in the occupied Crimea

In the occupied Crimea, #liberatecrimea activists criticized the support of small businesses by the Russian authorities, calling it ineffective. This was reported by a correspondent of Krym.Realii.

The activists expressed their opinion on the festival “My Business.
Creative” festival, which is currently taking place on the peninsula.
In their opinion, although the Russian authorities invest a lot of
money in organizing such events, there is no public assessment of the effectiveness of such activities.

The #liberatecrimea organization notes that despite numerous events, exhibitions and grants for starting a business, real production capacity is practically not growing.

“Support for small businesses in Crimea by the Russian authorities is the use of large budgets with minimal results. Numerous events are held, grants are issued, but the results are meager. No real production is being added, but on the contrary, old enterprises are being destroyed. In particular, the Kirov cannery and the Dionysus winery in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol) have recently been closed, and multi-story buildings are being built in their place. I would like to see statistics on the development of business projects for which budget grants were allocated. According to our data, most of them closed down immediately after the end of the mandatory reporting period, which indicates another “feeding” of close associates,” the activists said.
