Today, 23 July 2024, lawyers visited the Crimean Tatar political prisoner Lenie Umerova.
This was reported by the girl’s brother, Aziz Umerov via his Facebook page.
The guy noted that the lawyers manage to visit Umerova once a month. The date is determined by a draw because of the heavy workload of the Russian pre-trial detention centre.
Lawyers note the vigorous condition and fighting spirit of the girl. Only today Umerova learnt about the release of Nariman Dzhelyal, which gave her confidence in waiting for freedom, the report says.
Now the examination of the case of the political prisoner on state secrets continues, after which the indictment is expected to be sent to court.
