Journalist Iryna Danylovych intends to go on a dry hunger strike due to the lack of medical care. This is reported by ZMINA.
It is known that during the transportation of Irina to the Feodosiia City Court, she lost consciousness. The journalist’s father, Bronislav Danylovych, said that the prisoner’s health continues to deteriorate, and that Danylovych personally asked to postpone the date of the trial because he often loses coordination and is close to losing consciousness, and also suffers from acute otitis media.
Despite the serious condition of the journalist, the pre-trial detention center prepared the documents in such a way that there were no obstacles to transfer. According to the father, the last examination was of a demonstrative-formal nature, after which the doctor said that the journalist should have been sent to a psychiatrist, not to the psychiatrist, without forming a single diagnosis. It is also known that the ambulance doctor denied the defendant when she was angry, and lied that Danylovych voluntarily refused hospitalization, for which there is no evidence.
The defense plans to report both crimes under Article 124 of the Russian Criminal Code (failure to provide assistance to a patient without good reason). The journalist plans to arrange a dry hunger strike as a protest.
Recall that on April 29, in the occupied Crimea, near the village of Vladislavovka near Feodosia, Russian security forces searched the house of civilian journalist Irina Danylovych, after which the woman was detained.
