April 5, 2023

The investigation into Oleh Kulynych, suspected of treason, is over. This was reported by the press service of the SSU.

The intercepted conversation between Kulynych and his curator, Volodymyr Sivkovych, former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, was made public by the special services and the State Bureau of Investigation. These conversations are included in the materials of criminal proceedings. It is known that Kulinich cooperated with the FSB of the Russian Federation under the pseudonym Kotyhoroshko.

“We have done our best not only to detain the top state traitor, but also to collect a powerful evidence base, on the basis of which the court will be able to deliver a fair verdict. This is a clear signal to all those who work for the enemy: the SSU will definitely find you and make you answer for your deeds, no matter where you hide”,- Major General Vasyl Maliuk said.

Kulynych’s activities were focused on espionage and following the instructions of curators during intelligence activities, placing profitable Russian people in various government and law enforcement agencies, inciting citizens to treason.
