Observers from the embassies of the EU, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Great Britain and Switzerland arrived in Moscow to consider an appeal against the sentence against the citizen journalist Amet Suleymanov, siblings Seitumer and Osman Seytumerov, their uncle Rustem Seitmemetov
This was announced by the defender of Suleimanov – Lilia Gemedzhi.
Earlier, a military court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced a Crimean Tatar to 12 years in prison under Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, we note that Amet has heart problems and urgently needs a valve replacement.
Since his arrest, Amet has been under house arrest until now, but if the appeal court upholds the verdict, he will be taken into custody in the courtroom.
