The head of the board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center and a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Eskender Bariiev, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
Russian security forces are conducting searches in the homes of Crimean Tatar activists Edem Ismailov and Bari Bariiev. It is reported that at 08:30 in the morning the search in Bariiev’s house was completed – the security forces detained him and were taking him to Simferopol.
Reasons for the searches are not specified.
